غُرَابٌ يُرَى فِي كَفِّهِ فَرْخُ هُدْهُدِ
And a night, as though the star in the tower of its horizon
And a night as if the star in its horizon's mansion
were a raven, in whose palm a hoopoe chick is seen,
Is a raven seen in whose claw a hoopoe's chick

stretching a wing over the shoulder of a garden,
Stretching a wing above the shoulder of a garden
as a sidelock was drawn over a rosy cheek.
As a cheek stretches over a rosy face
