عَرَّضْتُ بِهَا وَمُنَزّلِ القُرْآنِ

عَرَّضْتُ بِهَا وَمُنَزّلِ القُرْآنِ

رَبّ الفَلَقِ

رَبّ الفَلَقِ

I alluded to her—by the Revealer of the Qur’an,

With it I begin, and the lodging place of the Quran—

the Lord of daybreak;

Lord of the dawn.

وَالْمَقْصَدُ مَدْحُ سَيِّدِ الأكْوَانِ

وَالْمَقْصَدُ مَدْحُ سَيِّدِ الأكْوَانِ

خَيْرِ الفِرَقِ

خَيْرِ الفِرَقِ

and the aim is to praise the master of all creation,

And my purpose is praise of the master of all creation,

the best of all groups.

The best of mankind.
