Send her out to graze on alāʾ shrubs and clover,
She sends her grazing Ala', perfect
high-humped among the mountains, like a mountain.
Among the mountains like a mountain.

At al-Liwā, the lavender growth yearned for her,
The blossoms of Khuzama bowed to her
and al-ʿAmīm's buttercups grew and matured.
And the rain of Umaym grew full and matured.

One of tireless she-camels that never watered at whim;
With virtues not motivated by passion,
nor did you spend a night fearing their being driven off.
Nor did any defect in her ever appear.

Noble she-camels that offer the guest his fare,
Virtues they offer to the guest generously,
before whom bright swords and spears are bloodied.
While they bleed the white camels and sheep.

They make us comfortable if we stay
we travel, they give us swift strides and a trot.
And if we leave they make the breeze and sands comfortable.

They reached perfection, so they cannot be reproached
boasting grows earnest, save that their end is near.
If seriousness nears death's appointment.

I said to the travelers seeking glory
and many a traveler has found the paths obscured—
While many travelers' paths were blinded.

In confusing vast lands
where even a wolf trotting through at dawn would stray;
Even a wolf would get lost wandering them at dawn.

the noble steed is made to shudder as it trots with him,
Eyes glance around when the beloved is hidden
after night travel, by the south and north winds—
The bird's nest is demolished by the breeze.

the pillar of this faith, the sovereign of realms,
The pillar of this religion, the sultan of states.

Who only stab with thin, fine spears.

And water can sometimes reach foam in rising high.

In the like of them did not boast.

You tied yourself from composing poetry, so untie!

As if nothing else was ever said.

To your glory from a beloved and amorous one.

The love of hearts of bliss and affection.
