قَومٌa people ولاؤهمallegiance to them حِصنa fortress وودّهُمُand love for them
قَومٌ ولاؤهم حِصن وودّهُمُ
لمِنْfor whoever أعدَّhas prepared نجاةًsalvation أوثقُthe surest العُدَدِthe provisions
لمِنْ أعدَّ نجاةً أوثقُ العُدَدِ
A people—allegiance to them is a fortress, and love for them
A people whose allegiance is a fortress and whose affection is most secure
Is the surest provision for whoever prepares for salvation.
For one who contrived deliverance or tightened the reins
