عَلَيهِ عُقودٌ مِن لُجَينٍ وَعَسجَدِ
The earth of the lush pool is adorned about the neck;
The fertile ground sings, decorated
Upon it lie necklaces of silver and gold.
With necklaces of pearls and carnelian

So bring the wine whose bubbles show upon its surface;
Bring forth the one whose bubbles appear
Then you will see in it white amid rose-red.
White in crimson you see

If the hand of the breeze strokes its branches
You discern in them lust born of their swaying.
You find in it affectionate boys
