Rise, my friend; let us take a morning draught of wine cooled by the north wind.

A cupbearer like an ivory figurine hastens with it.

And the garden, with its streams and yellow blossoms,

Is clad in plain silvery cloth and brocade.

The kings of its boughs meet our subjects,

This one with a wreath, and that one with a crown.
