O you whose custom it is to see
Oh you, whose destiny decreed that you would witness
the faults of my misdeeds, yet lavish forbearance upon them,
The worst of my trespasses, yet you’d show me mercy,
تَفَضَّلbe gracious بِإِنقاذيby rescuing me مِنَfrom السُخطِdispleasure بِالرِضىwith favor
تَفَضَّل بِإِنقاذي مِنَ السُخطِ بِالرِضى

Graciously rescue me from displeasure through your favor,
Please save me from your wrath through your contentment,
for the knife has reached the bone of my life.
For in my life the anguish has reached its zenith.
