يا أَيُّها العَبدُ الَّذي كُلُّ ما

يا أَيُّها العَبدُ الَّذي كُلُّ ما

يَفعَلُهُ يُسخِطُ مَولاهُ

يَفعَلُهُ يُسخِطُ مَولاهُ

O servant whose every deed

O you servant who all that you do

angers his Lord,

Angers your Master

اِحتَل بِزادٍ فَالطَريقُ الَّذي

اِحتَل بِزادٍ فَالطَريقُ الَّذي

لا بُدَّ أَن تَغشاهُ تَخشاهُ

لا بُدَّ أَن تَغشاهُ تَخشاهُ

Lay in provisions, for the road that

Take provisions, for the path you will inevitably tread

you must travel is one you fear.

Is one you should fear

لا خَيرَ في المَرءِ إِذا ما غَدا

لا خَيرَ في المَرءِ إِذا ما غَدا

يَبيعُ أَخراهُ بِأَولاهُ

يَبيعُ أَخراهُ بِأَولاهُ

There is no good in a man when he comes to
