يا باذِلاً لي وِصالاً
ماnot زالَceased يَمنَعُhe withholds مِنهُfrom it
ما زالَ يَمنَعُ مِنهُ
O giver of union to me,
O you who grants me union
who had long withheld it,
Yet continues to deny it from me
مَلَأتَyou filled قَلبيmy heart سُروراًjoy
مَلَأتَ قَلبي سُروراً
حَتّىuntil لَقَدindeed فاضَit overflowed عَنهُfrom it
حَتّى لَقَد فاضَ عَنهُ
you filled my heart with joy,
You have filled my heart with joy
until joy indeed overflowed from it.
