Muhassin ibn al-Milh's stride is narrow

in noble deeds, and broad in arrogance.

A man who wrongs his brother—and would that he

despite that, were fit to be his brother's groom.

A lout who lets loose against me words of his

that my tongue does not let loose against him.

And I see him as one who does not respect his own honor,

until I rub his ear with his father.
