عيسى فَتىً كُلُّ مَواعيدِهِ

عيسى فَتىً كُلُّ مَواعيدِهِ

لَيسَت لَها أَبنِيَةٌ ثابِتَه

لَيسَت لَها أَبنِيَةٌ ثابِتَه

Isa is a young man whose promises all

Jesus, a lad whose every tryst

lack any solid structure.

Has no established edifice -

فَلا يُصَدِّقهُ صَديقٌ لَهُ

فَلا يُصَدِّقهُ صَديقٌ لَهُ

فَإِنَّهُ أَكذَبُ مِن فاخِتَه

فَإِنَّهُ أَكذَبُ مِن فاخِتَه

So no friend of his believes him,

No friend of his gives credence

for he is a greater liar than a ringdove.

For he's a greater liar than a bragging poet.
