إِذا جازَ تَهديدُ عيسى بِنا

إِذا جازَ تَهديدُ عيسى بِنا

صَفَعنا قَفاهُ بِنَعلِ الهَوانِ

صَفَعنا قَفاهُ بِنَعلِ الهَوانِ

If Isa is allowed to threaten us,

If Jesus dared to threaten us,

we will slap his nape with the sandal of humiliation.

We would slap his face with the shoe of humiliation,

وَلَم نَخشَ مِنهُ لِأَنَّ الفَتى

وَلَم نَخشَ مِنهُ لِأَنَّ الفَتى

جَبانُ الجَنانِ شُجاعُ اللِسانِ

جَبانُ الجَنانِ شُجاعُ اللِسانِ

And we will not fear him, for the young man

And we would not fear him, for the lad

is cowardly at heart, brave of tongue.

Is cowardly at heart, brave only of tongue.
