لَناwe have أَخٌa brother كُلُّevery فَخرٍglory
لَنا أَخٌ كُلُّ فَخرٍ
مُستَجمَعٌgathered together فيin إِخائِهhis brotherhood
مُستَجمَعٌ في إِخائِه
We have a brother; all glory
is gathered in his brotherhood.
مُستَوحِشاتُuntamed ones المَعاليlofty honors
مُستَوحِشاتُ المَعالي
مُستَأنِساتُgrowing tame بَرائِهthrough his counsel
مُستَأنِساتُ بَرائِه
The untamed heights of honor
grow tame through his counsel.
لَوif لَمnot يُحَبَّhe were loved لِشَيءٍfor anything
لَو لَم يُحَبَّ لِشَيءٍ
اَحبَبتُهُI would love him لِحَيائِهfor his modesty
اَحبَبتُهُ لِحَيائِه
Were he loved for nothing else,
I would love him for his modesty.
