ياO ذاyou الَّذيwho أَنزَلَlaid بيupon me
يا ذا الَّذي أَنزَلَ بي
حاجَتَهُhis need دونَrather than الأُمَمthe peoples
حاجَتَهُ دونَ الأُمَم
O you who have brought before me
O you who have laid upon me
your need, rather than before all mankind,
your need, rather than upon all others,
لاdo not تُطرِنيpraise me بِلَفظَةٍwith a word
لا تُطرِني بِلَفظَةٍ
مِنfor أَجلِهاits sake حَتّىuntil تَتِمit is fulfilled
مِن أَجلِها حَتّى تَتِم
do not extol me with a single word
do not praise me with a word
on its account until it is fulfilled.

فَلَستُfor I am not مِمَّنamong those who يَرتَضيis content
فَلَستُ مِمَّن يَرتَضي
