Be haughty toward whoever has no self-respect,
It is a shame upon someone who has no dignity
and toward whoever harbors folly and foolishness.
And upon someone who is foolish and ignorant

I do not regard a person as truly human if
I do not consider a person human if
I do not know him for his knowledge.
I do not know him well

I am not one who is pleased with
with a brother whose character is unlike mine.
A brother whose character is different
