The light of morning and the light of wine have both gleamed;
The light of morning and the light of wine have both gleamed.

And the rooster crows, and the bell has been struck.

So drink wine in the garden whenever it is brought forth,
So drink wine upon the meadow; whenever it is unveiled
Pure and unmixed—at it, the heart of sorrow cracks and splits apart.
unmixed, the heart of sorrow cracks, then splits apart.
لاdo not تَرتَجِعturn back عَنfrom سُرورٍjoy إِنif هَمَمتَyou have resolved بِهِupon it
فَالدَهرُfor time لَيسَdoes not يُباليcare ماwhat الَّذيwhich صَنَعاit has done
Do not turn away from a joy once you have resolved upon it,
Do not turn back from joy if you have resolved upon it,
For Time cares nothing for what it has wrought.
For time does not care what it has done.
