ياO مَنyou who غَداhave become رَوضيmy meadow وَبُستانيand my garden
وَظِلُّand the shade of نَسرينيmy wild roses وَرَيحانيand my basil
O you who have become my meadow and my garden,
O you who have become my garden and orchard
And the shade of my wild roses and my basil,
And the shade of my jasmine and basil,
قُمrise بِحَياتيby my life نَختَلِسlet us steal صَبحَةًa morning draught
ما(adverbial particle) بَينَamong أَشجارٍtrees وَأَغصانِand branches
Rise, by my life, let us steal a morning draught
Arise with my life and let us steal a morning
Among trees and branches,
Among trees and branches,
عَلىby غَديرٍa pool رَقَّwas delicate تَدريجُهُits gradations
كَأَنَّهُas though it were مَقعَدُthe seat of سامانِSāmān
By a pool whose gradations are delicate,
By a flowing stream whose murmuring
As though it were Sāmān's seat.
Is like the seat of idleness.
