لِسَانُكُم بالفخرِ دوماً يُردِّدُ

لِسَانُكُم بالفخرِ دوماً يُردِّدُ

إذا مَات منَّا سيِّد قام سَيِّد

إذا مَات منَّا سيِّد قام سَيِّد

Your tongue always repeats with pride:

Your tongues are always repeating pride,

When a leader among us dies, another leader rises.

If one of our leaders dies, another leader arises,

فإنَّ بني التازي كِرامٌ أجِلَّةٌ

فإنَّ بني التازي كِرامٌ أجِلَّةٌ

إذا ذُكِروا فالذِّكرُ منهُمُ يُحمَدُ

إذا ذُكِروا فالذِّكرُ منهُمُ يُحمَدُ

For the sons of al-Tazi are generous and venerable;

For the sons of Tazi are honorable and esteemed,

Whenever they are mentioned, mention of them is praiseworthy.

When they are mentioned, they are praised,

مُجَدِّدُ ذكرٍ للفقيدِ الذِي مضَى

مُجَدِّدُ ذكرٍ للفقيدِ الذِي مضَى

ومَضجَعُه مِنَّا قلوبٌ وأكيدُ

ومَضجَعُه مِنَّا قلوبٌ وأكيدُ

A renewer of remembrance for the departed one who passed away,

Renewing the memory of the late departed one,

And his resting place among us is our hearts—and that is certain.

And his resting place among us is hearts and everlasting,

أتيتَ فطهَّرتَ البلادَ مِن الخَنا

أتيتَ فطهَّرتَ البلادَ مِن الخَنا

فهُم لكُمُ عينٌ وإِنكَ إثمِدُ

فهُم لكُمُ عينٌ وإِنكَ إثمِدُ

You came and purified the land of depravity.

You came and purified the country from sins,

So they are an eye for you, and you are antimony kohl.

So they are an eye for you, and you are supported,

ملأت قلوبَ الكلِّ حبا وغبطةً

ملأت قلوبَ الكلِّ حبا وغبطةً

كأنك صوبُ الغيثِ للمَحلِ يطرُدُ

كأنك صوبُ الغيثِ للمَحلِ يطرُدُ

You filled the hearts of all with love and joy.

You filled the hearts of all with love and joy,

As though you were a downpour of rain, driving drought away.

As if you were rain pouring down on the land, chasing away,

وقد شهِدوا منك الديانَة والتُّقَى

وقد شهِدوا منك الديانَة والتُّقَى

فدُم للتُّقَى والدينِ فاللهُ يَشهَدُ

فدُم للتُّقَى والدينِ فاللهُ يَشهَدُ

And they have witnessed in you religious devotion and piety.

And they witnessed from you faith and piety,

So remain devoted to piety and religion, for God bears witness.

So blood for piety and religion, and God bears witness,

ومن كَان بالمولَى فؤادهُ عامِرا

ومن كَان بالمولَى فؤادهُ عامِرا

فدَوما له المولى مُعينٌ مُعضِّدُ

فدَوما له المولى مُعينٌ مُعضِّدُ

And whoever's heart is filled with the Lord,

And whoever's heart is full for the Master,

Then the Lord is always his helper and supporter.

The Master is always a helper and supporter for him,

فلا زلتَ حِلفا للمكارِم والعُلَى

فلا زلتَ حِلفا للمكارِم والعُلَى

سناؤُه في أفق السَّعادةِ يَصعَدُ

سناؤُه في أفق السَّعادةِ يَصعَدُ

So may you never cease to be an ally of noble virtues and eminence,

So you have always been an ally of virtues and high moral values,

Whose splendor rises on the horizon of happiness.

Its glory on the horizon of happiness ascends,

ولا سيَما في عهدِ من به عهدُنا

ولا سيَما في عهدِ من به عهدُنا

على هامِه تاجُ المفاخِرُ يُعقَدُ

على هامِه تاجُ المفاخِرُ يُعقَدُ

And especially in the reign of him to whom we are pledged,

Especially in the era of the one with whom we have a pact,

On whose head the crown of glories is fastened.

On his brow the crown of pride is placed,

ولا عجبٌ فهوَ المفَدَّى بِنفسنا

ولا عجبٌ فهوَ المفَدَّى بِنفسنا

ولا عجبٌ فهوَ المليكُ محمَّدُ

ولا عجبٌ فهوَ المليكُ محمَّدُ

And no wonder, for he is the one we would ransom with our own lives.

And no wonder, for he is the one ransomed with our souls,

And no wonder, for he is King Muhammad.

And no wonder, for he is the King Mohammed.
