نَعم حَصحَصَ الحَقُّ وانكَشفا

نَعم حَصحَصَ الحَقُّ وانكَشفا

وبانَ الصَّوابُ وزال الخَفا

Yes, the truth has become manifest and been revealed.

Yes, the truth has been verified and uncovered

And what is right has become clear, and obscurity has vanished.

لِذاك فإنِّي له مُنصِفٌ

لِذاك فإنِّي له مُنصِفٌ

ولي شَرَف إِن أَكُن مُنصِفا

ولي شَرَف إِن أَكُن مُنصِفا

For that reason, I give it its due,

Therefore I am impartial towards it

And it is an honor for me if I am fair.

ولكنَّ في النَّفس لي حاجَةٌ

ولكنَّ في النَّفس لي حاجَةٌ

غليلُ فُؤادي بها ما اشتَفى

And yet within my soul I have a need:

My heart's burning thirst has not been quenched by it.

A yearning of my heart that has not been quenched

وذاك لماذا مَضَت وانقَضَت

عُصورٌ وذا السِرُّ عنا اختَفى

عُصورٌ وذا السِرُّ عنا اختَفى

And it is this: why did there pass and come to an end

And that is why eras have passed and ended

Ages, while this secret was hidden from us,

While this secret was concealed from us

ولم يَبدُ إلا أخيراً فمَن

ولم يَبدُ إلا أخيراً فمَن

يَكونُ جوابُه لي مُسعِفا

يَكونُ جوابُه لي مُسعِفا

And appeared only at last? Then whose
