إذاwhenever ذُكِرَis mentioned التهاميal-Tihami فيamong البَراياhumankind
إذا ذُكِرَ التهامي في البَرايا
يَضُوعwafts لِذِكرِهat his mention فيناamong us عَبيرُfragrance
يَضُوع لِذِكرِه فينا عَبيرُ
Whenever al-Tihami is mentioned among humankind,
When the beloved is mentioned in the wilderness
a fragrance wafts among us at his mention.
The fragrance of his mention awakens in us
