Peace upon the judge of integrity and justice,
Greetings to the just and equitable judge

With the light of guidance and knowledge, he shone within;
With the light of guidance and knowledge he shone inwardly
So his countenance shone, guiding one along the paths.
An illuminated expansive space to be guided on the path

وأكرِم به في أعصُرِ الجَورِ والجَهلِ
In his justice, he showed us the age of the Successors.
He showed us the era of the followers in justice
And how noble he is in ages of oppression and ignorance!
And honored it in ages of tyranny and ignorance

وكم مُدَّعٍ فضلاً وليس بِذِي فضل
And he makes no claim to justice, yet his judgment is just;
And none claims justice while his rule is with justice
And how many claim virtue without possessing it!
And how many claim excellence while not being excellent

Have mercy; pardon me if I arrived but did not stop
Your affection is an excuse if I come and do not excel
At your abode, the abode of glory and nobility.
In your quarters, the quarters of generosity and nobility
