O enemy of the people—nay, enemy of God!

I took him for you; the house has no one to forbid it.

I took him when beauty had become complete

In him, and his radiant cheek had begun to sprout down.

I dashed the hopes of those who coveted him—

Of everyone enamored of his splendid beauty.

Help, comrades, against the danger in this affair!

It must be averted, by God, by God!

These female sodomites have crowded us out, for

They have taken every handsome-faced, conceited man.
