سأَلتُهI asked him ماليwhy is it that I أرَىI see دائماalways
سأَلتُه مالي أرَى دائما
مُغَلَّفَsheathed; covered أيربهa penis; with him ظافِرَاvictorious
مُغَلَّفَ أيربه ظافِرَا
I asked him why I always see
I asked him, "Why do I always see you
a man with a sheathed penis winning him over.
With your fingertips dyed in henna?"
فقالَso he said ألمhave you not تَستَمِعhear قَولهُمtheir saying
فقالَ ألم تَستَمِع قَولهُم
أجِبanswer مَنwhoever دَعاكَcalled you ولوeven if كَافِراan unbeliever
أجِب مَن دَعاكَ ولو كَافِرا
He said: Have you not heard their saying—
He replied, "Have you not heard what people say?
Answer whoever calls you, even if he is an unbeliever?
Answer those who call you, even if they are unbelievers."
