كيفَ يمتازُ من جَلالك يومٌ

أيهَا القائدُ الجليلُ الأيَادي

How can any one day stand out through your majesty,

How does a day stand out with your majesty

O commander, noble in your benefactions,

O great revered leader of generosity

وجَميعُ الأوقاتِ منكَ سعودٌ

وجَميعُ الأوقاتِ منكَ سعودٌ

وجميعُ الأيَّامِ كالأعيَادِ

وجميعُ الأيَّامِ كالأعيَادِ

When every hour brings good fortune from you,

All times are fortunate through you

And every day is like a festival?

And all days are like celebrations

أنتَ كالغيثِ والسُّرورِ نباتٌ

أنتَ كالغيثِ والسُّرورِ نباتٌ

وَكفَى بالسُّرور غِبَّ عِهَادِ

وَكفَى بالسُّرور غِبَّ عِهَادِ

You are like rain, and joy is its verdure;

You are like rain and growing happiness

And joy suffices after successive rains.

And happiness alone suffices the dejected

فانتِعاشُ النفُوسِ ينمُو سريعا

فانتِعاشُ النفُوسِ ينمُو سريعا

وازدهَارُ القلوبِ في الإديادِ

وازدهَارُ القلوبِ في الإديادِ

So the revival of souls grows swiftly,

So the revival of souls grows quickly

And the blossoming of hearts keeps increasing.

And the flourishing of hearts during adversity

تِلك تَلواتُ أصبحت ذات فخرٍ

تِلك تَلواتُ أصبحت ذات فخرٍ

واعتزازٍ بِقامِع الأندادِ

واعتزازٍ بِقامِع الأندادِ

There is Telouet, now possessed of pride,

Those are praises that have become prideful

And honor in the vanquisher of rivals.

And proud of the subduer of rivals

فإذا مَا البلادُ كانت رؤوسا

فإذا مَا البلادُ كانت رؤوسا

فَهىَ تاجٌ على رُؤوس البِلاد

فَهىَ تاجٌ على رُؤوس البِلاد

So if the towns were heads,

So if the country was heads

She would be a crown upon the heads of towns.

It is a crown over the heads of countries

خضَعَ الأطلسُ العظيمُ لها حتى

خضَعَ الأطلسُ العظيمُ لها حتى

تَدانَى من نعلِها ذو العِناد

تَدانَى من نعلِها ذو العِناد

The mighty Atlas bowed to her, until

The great Atlas submitted to it until

The defiant one drew close to her sandal.

The stubborn bowed to its slipper

فتَسامت على نَواصي ذُراهُ

فتَسامت على نَواصي ذُراهُ

واستوَت فوقَه استِواءَ الرَّشَادِ

واستوَت فوقَه استِواءَ الرَّشَادِ

So she rose above the forelocks of his peaks,

It towered over the peaks of its heights

And took her place above him with wisdom's poise.

And leveled over it with the leveling of guidance

وهىَ في زيِّها الجديدِ فتاة

وهىَ في زيِّها الجديدِ فتاة

جمعَت بينَ طارفٍ وتِلاَد

جمعَت بينَ طارفٍ وتِلاَد

And in her new attire she is a maiden

And it in its new attire is a girl

Who has united the newly acquired with the inherited.

Who combined charm and birth

ولهَذا من وصفِنا لبَهاها

ولهَذا من وصفِنا لبَهاها

جعلتنَا نَهيمُ في كلِّ وَاد

جعلتنَا نَهيمُ في كلِّ وَاد

And so, in our description of her splendor,

And so from our description of its splendor

She has made us wander in every valley.

We have made it the subject of every valley

قد رأت منكَ صورةًً للِّهامي

قد رأت منكَ صورةًً للِّهامي

نافذِ الأمر سيِّدِ الأسيَادِ

نافذِ الأمر سيِّدِ الأسيَادِ

She has seen in you an image of al-Lihami,

It saw in you the image of the inspired

Whose command prevails, the master of masters.

The decisive chief of chiefs

ورأت منكَ راسماً لِخُطَاه

ورأت منكَ راسماً لِخُطَاه

ورَأت منك نَجدةَ الأجدَاد

ورَأت منك نَجدةَ الأجدَاد

And she has seen in you one tracing his footsteps,

And it saw you depicting its footsteps

And she has seen in you the valor of the forefathers.

And it saw deliverance from ancestors in you

ولكُم قد تَبسَّمَ الدهرُ قِدما

ولكُم قد تَبسَّمَ الدهرُ قِدما

مِن عُصورِ الآباءِ والأحفَادِ

مِن عُصورِ الآباءِ والأحفَادِ

And Time smiled upon you long ago,

And for you time has smiled for ages

Since the ages of fathers and grandsons.

From the eras of forefathers and descendants

وبنيتُم قِبَابَ عزٍّ ومَجدٍ

وبنيتُم قِبَابَ عزٍّ ومَجدٍ

فهنِيئا لكم بنِي الأمجَادِ

فهنِيئا لكم بنِي الأمجَادِ

And you have built domes of honor and glory;

And you built domes of glory and honor

So congratulations to you, sons of the illustrious!

So congratulations to you people of glories
