في البَرايا صَاحَ شَهمٌ
طيِّبٌkind ذوpossessing ألمَعِيَّهkeen wit
طيِّبٌ ذو ألمَعِيَّه
Among humankind, a noble man cried out,
In the wilderness, a gallant man cried out
kind and endowed with keen wit.
A fine one with shining virtues
هوhe باشانَاour Pasha المُفَدَّىthe one for whom we would sacrifice ourselves
هو باشانَا المُفَدَّى
خيرُthe finest فَردٍperson فيin البَرِيَّهِcreation
خيرُ فَردٍ في البَرِيَّهِ
He is our Pasha, for whom we would sacrifice ourselves,
He is our redeemed Pasha
the finest person in creation.
