Among the things with which God has afflicted Marrakesh

is a small, effeminate market inspector.

He has no occupation but shaking a rump

around him, as though it were Mount Thabir.

    No craftsman fears his might

if he has a big cock.

One day I met him panting like a dog,

and he said, 'Price-setting has exhausted me.'

I said to him, 'Your arse—have you priced it?'

So he said, 'The rabid one cannot be priced.'
