ويوَمand on the day عَجنِkneading جِسمهِhis body
ويوَم عَجنِ جِسمهِ
لِكَىso that يَصيرَhe becomes بَشرَاhuman
لِكَى يَصيرَ بَشرَا
And on the day his body was kneaded
And the day they kneaded his body
So that he might become human,
To make him human
لمdid not يَجِدواthey find فيin السُّوقِthe market مِلحاًsalt
لم يَجِدوا في السُّوقِ مِلحاً
يُشتَرىis bought أوor سُكَّراsugar
يُشتَرى أو سُكَّرا
They found no salt in the market
They could not find salt in the market
To be bought, nor any sugar.
To buy, or sugar
فجاءَso he turned out لاno طَعمَtaste لَهُfor him
فجاءَ لا طَعمَ لَهُ
كَقِطعَةِlike a piece منَof الخthe … (unclear or truncated word)
