when you tell, tell of its inhabitants.
Speak, when you speak of its inhabitants

By what was lost from it of homeland soil

And masked by the fragrance of Thuwan's soil

About that pastureland and its neighbors

Hail to you, a night traveler who whispers his tale,
You were greeted by one who delights in his talk
while the fragrance of wild lote trees wafts from his sleeves.
And the scattering of the lost radiates from its valleys

You revived in us every longing dead one
and restored his spirit to his body.
And restored in him the soul to its body

And conveyed from the people of the sand dune a message
and I see the breeze spreading it with its tongue.
And I see the breeze spreading it with its tongue

And it says that they, as I left them
since the sanctuary’s days of old.
From the days of ardour and its time
