يا خالق الدُّنيا وباسِطَ رِزقِها

يا خالق الدُّنيا وباسِطَ رِزقِها

وجميعَ ما فيها منَ الحَيوانِ

وجميعَ ما فيها منَ الحَيوانِ

O Creator of the world, who bestows sustenance on it

O Creator of the world, Provider of its sustenance,

and on all the living creatures within it,

And all that is in it, of living things,

يا حيُّ يا قيُّومُ يا سبُّوحُ يا

يا حيُّ يا قيُّومُ يا سبُّوحُ يا

قُدُّوسُ يَا من ما لَهُ من ثاني

قُدُّوسُ يَا من ما لَهُ من ثاني

O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, O All-Glorious, O

O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, O Glorified, O Holy One,

Most Holy, O You who have no equal,

O Matchless, O Peerless,

اِرحَم ضَعِيفاً قَد أَتاكَ وَمَالهُ

اِرحَم ضَعِيفاً قَد أَتاكَ وَمَالهُ

شيءٌ منَ الحَسناتِ في المِيزانِ

شيءٌ منَ الحَسناتِ في المِيزانِ

Have mercy on a weak man who has come to You, with no

Have mercy on a weak one who has come to You,

good deeds in the balance,

With no good deeds in the scales,

غيرَ الشهادةِ عنكَ أَنَّكَ واحدٌ

غيرَ الشهادةِ عنكَ أَنَّكَ واحدٌ

ومحمَّدٌ عبدٌ لدينِكَ باني

ومحمَّدٌ عبدٌ لدينِكَ باني

except the testimony that You are One,

Except testifying that You are One,

and that Muhammad is a servant who builds Your religion.

And Muhammad is Your faithful servant.

أَرسلتَهُ فأَقامَ إِذ أَيَّدتَهُ

أَرسلتَهُ فأَقامَ إِذ أَيَّدتَهُ

باللُّطفِ مِنكَ شَرائعَ الإِيمانِ

باللُّطفِ مِنكَ شَرائعَ الإِيمانِ

You sent him, and he established—when You supported him

You sent him and supported him,

with grace from You—the ordinances of faith.

With Your kindness, the laws of faith,

إِن كانَ لا يرجوكَ إِلاَّ مُحسنٌ

إِن كانَ لا يرجوكَ إِلاَّ مُحسنٌ

فَبمَن يَلوذُ وَيستجيرُ الجَاني

فَبمَن يَلوذُ وَيستجيرُ الجَاني

If none but a doer of good hopes in You,

If none can hope in You but the virtuous,

then to whom does the sinner turn for refuge and protection?

Then whom can the sinner take refuge in and seek sanctuary?
