أقولُI say لهto him علامَwhy تَميلُyou lean عُجباًin conceit

I say to him, “Why do you lean in conceit
I say to him, why do you incline with wonder

فقالَthen he said تقولُyou say عنِّيabout me مَيلٌa leaning
فقلتُthen I said كذاthus لناto us نَقَلَconveyed النَّسيمُthe breeze
He said, “You say I lean?”

I said, “So the breeze has told us.”
I said, "That's how the breeze conveyed it to us."
