By the sanctity of slender-waisted figures and wide eyes,
By slender waists that inspire love and longing,
And by my slaying, which those glances have made lawful,
By the tears shed when the final moment comes,
وَحَقِّand by the sanctity of خُدودٍcheeks يُخجِلُputs to shame الرَّوضَthe garden وَردُهاtheir roses

And by the sanctity of cheeks whose roses shame the garden,
By the cheeks that shame the rose garden with their bloom,
And by the lashes of eyes more piercing than arrows.
By the glances that pierce deeper than arrows.
