Tread, with this glory of yours, the best of paths.

For your glory through al-Siddiq is from eternity.

And take pride, for pride belongs only to the Prophet and those

Who are loyal to the Prophet, among his followers and retainers.

You have been granted, O sons of al-Siddiq, a station

Whose utmost reach no seeker has attained.

On your authority I have recounted the tale of noble deeds; and from

My love for you, O sons of al-Siddiq, I have not turned away.

O you who seek a station exalted beyond compare,

Make for a sanctuary where none but saints dwell.

And alight in the courtyards of al-Siddiq's sons, seeking refuge

With Ahmad, son of Abu Bakr and brother of Ali.

And behold the light of his wondrous face: you will find

In his countenance the sun, leaving you no need of Saturn.

May you never cease, O Ahmad of the age, peerless in eminence,

To recount noble deeds from your forefathers of old.

And he who composes your praises never ceases

To hope for greater glory and a longer life for you.
