1. آل طه وَمن يقل آل طه

    مُستَجيرا بجاهكم لا يردّ

    O family of Taha! Whoever says, 'O family of Taha!'

    Seeking refuge through your standing, is not turned away.

  2. حُبكم مَذهبي وَعقد يَقيني

    لَيسَ لي مَذهَب سِواه وَعَقد

    Love for you is my creed and the bond of my certainty.

    I have no creed or bond of belief apart from it.

  3. مِنكُم أَسمّد بل كُل من في الك

    ون من فَيض فَضلِكُم يَستَمد

    From you I draw support; indeed, everyone in the universe

    Draws upon the overflow of your bounty.

  4. بيتكم مَهبط الرِسالَة وَالوَح

    ي وَمِنكُم نور النُبُوّة يَبدو

    Your house is where the message and revelation descend;

    And from you the light of prophethood shines.

  5. وَلَكُم في العُلا مَقام رَفيع

    ما لَكُم فيه آل ياسين نَدّ

    You have a lofty station in the heights of glory;

    O family of Yasin, you have no equal there.

  6. يا اِبنَ بِنت الرَسول من ذا يُضاهي

    ك اِفتِخارا وَأَنتَ لِلفَخر عَقد

    O son of the Messenger's daughter, who can rival

    You in glory, when you are glory's necklace?

  7. يا حسبنا هَل مِثل أُمّك أَم

    لِشَريف أَو مِثل جَدّك جَدّ

    O you who suffice us, is there a mother like your mother

    For any nobleman, or a grandfather like your grandfather?

  8. رام قَوم ان يَلحَقوكَ وَلكِن

    بِينَهُم في العُلا وَبَيتُكَ بَعد

    Some people sought to catch up with you, yet

    A great distance in glory lies between them and your house.

  9. خَصك اللَهُ بِالسَعادَة في دُن

    ياكَ يا طهر وَالشَهادَة بَعد

    God singled you out for happiness in your earthly life,

    O pure one, and for martyrdom afterward.

  10. لَكَ في القَبر يا حَسينا مَقام

    وَلا عداكَ فيهَ خزى وَطرد

    You have a station in the grave, O Husayn;

    And your enemies have disgrace and banishment there.

  11. يا كَريم الدارين يا من له الدَه

    ر عَلى رُغم من يُعانِد عبد

    O noble one of both worlds, O you for whom time

    Is a slave, despite whoever opposes you.

  12. أَنتَ سيف عَلى عداك وَلكِن

    فيكَ حُلم وَما لِفَضلِكَ حَدّ

    You are a sword against your enemies, yet

    In you is forbearance, and your excellence has no limit.

  13. كل من رامَ حصر فَضلِكَ غر

    فضل آل النَبِيّ لَيسَ يُعدّ

    Whoever seeks to encompass your excellence is deluded;

    The excellence of the Prophet's family cannot be counted.

  14. طيبَة فاقَت البِقاع جَميعاً

    حينَ أَضحى فيها لجدّك لَحد

    Tayba surpassed all lands

    When it came to hold your grandfather's grave.

  15. وَلِمِصر فَخر عَلى كُل مِصر

    وَلَها طالِع بِقَبرِكَ سَعد

    And Egypt has glory above every city;

    And through your tomb, its rising star is auspicious.

  16. مَشهد أَنتَ فيهِ مَشهد مَجد

    كَم سَعى نَحوه جَواد مُجِدّ

    A shrine in which you lie is a shrine of glory;

    How many a noble, eager steed has hastened toward it!

  17. وَضَريح حَوى عَلاك ضَريح

    كله مندل يَفوح وَنَدّ

    And a tomb that holds your eminence is a tomb

    All aloeswood wafting fragrance, and aromatic incense.

  18. مدد ما لَه اِنتِهاء وَسَرّ

    لا يُضاهي وَرَونِق لا يحد

    Aid without end, and a mystery

    Beyond compare, and splendor without bounds.

  19. رَحمات لِلزائِرينَ تَوالَت

    وَجَزيل من العَطاء وَرَفد

    Mercies have followed one another for the visitors,

    And abundant gifts and generous aid.

  20. رضى اللَه عنكم آل طه

    وَدعاء المقلّ مِثلي جهد

    May God be pleased with you, O family of Taha;

    And prayer is all one of little means, like me, can offer.

  21. وَسَلام عَلَيكُم كُل وَقت

    ما تَغَنّت بِكُم تهام وَنجد

    And peace be upon you at every moment,

    As long as Tiham and Najd sing your praise.

  22. أَنا في عَرض تُربه أَنت فيها

    يا حسينا وَبَعد حاشى أَردّ

    I seek the protection of the tomb in which you lie,

    O Husayn—and surely, then, I shall not be turned away.

  23. أَنا في عَرض جَدّك الطاهر الطَه

    ر اِذا ما الزَمانُ بِالخطب يَعدو

    I seek the protection of your grandfather, the pure, the immaculate,

    When time assails me with calamity.

  24. أَنا في عَرض من يُحيل أولو العز

    م عَلَيهِ وَما لَهُم عنه بَدّ

    I seek the protection of him to whom those of firm resolve turn,

    And whom they cannot do without.

  25. أَنا في عرض من أَتَته غَزال

    فحماها وَالخَصم خَصم الدّ

    I seek the protection of him to whom a gazelle came;

    He protected her, though the adversary was an implacable foe.

  26. أَنا في عَرض جَدّك المُصطَفى من

    كل عام لَه الرحال تَشد

    I seek the protection of your grandfather, the Chosen One, for whom

    Saddles are cinched for travel each year.

  27. أَنا في عرض من له الرسل أَنصا

    ر اِذا سارَ وَالملائِكَ جُند

    I seek the protection of him whose helpers are the messengers

    When he goes forth, and whose troops are the angels.

  28. يا الهي عَلَيه صَلى وَسَلم

    ما بدا كَوكَب وَصَوّت رَعد

    O my God, bless him and grant him peace,

    As long as a star appears and thunder resounds.
