تسعَى بنا قدمُ الرجاءِ وما الذي
يُغنِىavails إذاwhen قَعدتْfell short بناfor us الأرزاقُsustenance
يُغنِى إذا قَعدتْ بنا الأرزاقُ
The foot of hope carries us onward—but what
The foot of hope urges us on though what does it avail
avails when our sustenance fails us?
