عُمَّالَofficials كملaccomplished حُكماwise men
عُمَّالَ كمل حُكما
Oh, if only, when they made servants
Oh, if only when they made servants into workers,
into officials, accomplished and wise,
With perfect governance,
جَرَواthey proceeded علىaccording to ذلكthat القياسِthe analogy بأنby having
جَرَوا على ذلك القياسِ بأن
تصيرَbecome عُمّالُهمtheir officials لهمto them خَدماservants
تصيرَ عُمّالُهم لهم خَدما
they had followed that analogy, so that
They had applied this principle so that
their officials would become servants to them.
Their workers would become servants to them.
