كالأفقlike the horizon إنif غامit grows cloudy فيin جَنوبٍa south wind
كالأفق إن غام في جَنوبٍ
هبّتblew شَمالٌa north wind لهover it فأضحىَso it cleared
هبّت شَمالٌ له فأضحىَ
Like the horizon, when clouded by a south wind,
a north wind blows over it, and it clears.
