Sol 6.1

  1. قد عاد بدرُ الدجى إلى فلَكِهْ

    يغسِلُ وجهَ الظلام عن حَلَكِهْ

    Indeed, the full moon of night has returned to his orbit,

    washing the face of darkness clean of its blackness.

  2. سَرَى وأفراسُه مطالعُهُ

    ونَقعهُنَّ المُثارُ من حُبُكِهْ

    He journeyed by night, his horses his places of rising,

    and their stirred-up dust came from its interwoven paths.

  3. فاقتَنصَ المجدَ فوق عاتِقهِ

    واستأسر المكرماتِ في شَرَكِهْ

    So he captured glory upon his shoulder,

    and took noble deeds captive in his snare.

  4. أهدىَ به الفضلَ والسماحةَ وال

    عزمَ إمامُ الهدَى إلى مَلِكهْ

    Through him were sent as gifts excellence, generosity, and

    resolve, by the Imam of Guidance to his king.
