You have preoccupied my heart from the world and its pleasures
For you and my heart are one, inseparable.
For you and the heart are inseparable things
وماand never تطابقتclosed together الأحداقthe eyes منfrom سنةdrowsiness
وما تطابقت الأحداق من سنة
إلاexcept that وجدتكI found you بينbetween الجفنthe eyelid والحدقand the pupils
إلا وجدتك بين الجفن والحدق
And never do my eyes close in drowsiness
And eyes have never matched since an era
But I find you between eyelid and pupil.
