سقى اللَه أطلالاً بأكثبة الحمى

May God water the ruins at the dunes of al-Hima,

though they have revealed my affliction to the people.

منازل لو مرت بهن جنازتي

لقال الصدى يا حاملي اربعا بيا

لقال الصدى يا حاملي اربعا بيا

Dwellings—were my funeral bier to pass by them,

the echo would say, “O my two bearers, pause with me!”
