He fulfilled no wish of youthful passion,
He had not yet fulfilled the desires of youth
And indeed youth grieved you when it departed.
When gray hair came and youth flew away.

And the heart, after its recovery, was revisited
After the heart regained health
By sickness, so it suffered weariness from love.
It fell ill, and from love found only fatigue.

Indeed, we have a mighty, closely massed host,
We have a magnificent, glittering host,
Which serves the enemy poison and flame;
That destroys the vile enemy and flames.

A rumbling whose spaciousness astounded
With cavalry, infantry, and wondrous noble rank.
Horsemen, footmen, and wondrous ranks.

Its wings all valiant, mighty horsemen
Thick-necked as a lion, charging, fierce in battle.
Who overcame their foes like lions in war.

They strike with them from abhorrence, cause sparks.

By those who charge at calamities and misfortunes.

They surged against the priests when they advanced
Waves of a sea that made the hills leap,
Like waves of a sea wearing away the rocks.
