جنّة الدنيا كتابٌ

جنّة الدنيا كتابٌ

فيهِ للنفس غِذاء

This world's paradise is a book,

The world's paradise is a book

In it is nourishment for the soul;

In which there is nourishment for the soul

وحبيبٌ ذو ولاءٍ

وحبيبٌ ذو ولاءٍ

وانيسٌ ذو وفاء

وانيسٌ ذو وفاء

And a loyal beloved,

And a loyal beloved

And a faithful companion;

And intimate friends of loyalty

ووجودٌ سالمٌ مِن

ووجودٌ سالمٌ مِن

علَّةٍ فيهِ ذكاء

علَّةٍ فيهِ ذكاء

And a life free from

And a being of peace without

Illness, with intelligence;

Any flaw in which there is brilliance

ومقامٌ فيهِ أَمنٌ

ومقامٌ فيهِ أَمنٌ

طاب ماءً وهواء

طاب ماءً وهواء

And a dwelling where there is safety,

And an abode in which there is security

With wholesome water and air;

With good water and air

وكفافٌ من طعامٍ

وكفافٌ من طعامٍ

وشرابٍ وكساء

وشرابٍ وكساء

And a sufficiency of food,

And adequate food

And drink and clothing;

And drink and clothing

فاذا ما تمَّ هذا

فاذا ما تمَّ هذا

فعلى الدنيا العفاء

فعلى الدنيا العفاء

So when all this is complete,

So when this is complete

Then let the world go to ruin.

Then the world has served its purpose
