من اللؤلؤ الشفَّاف صيغَت اناملي

وقد اكسبتها الشمسُ من نورها رَونَق

My fingertips were fashioned from transparent pearl.

My fingers were shaped from transparent pearl

And the sun has given them luster from its light.

And the sun endowed them with its light and glow

ومن ذَوب بلورٍ صفا صيغَ ساعدي

ومن ذَوب بلورٍ صفا صيغَ ساعدي

وساعَدَهُ الفيروزُ فالثم ولا تعشق

وساعَدَهُ الفيروزُ فالثم ولا تعشق

And my forearm was fashioned from pure molten crystal.

My arm was shaped from melted crystal so pure

And turquoise lent it aid; so kiss, and do not fall in love.

The turquoise helped it slide, touch not with passion though
