قَد تَنجَلي الغَمَراتِ وَهيَ شَدائِد
Never despair of relief from a hardship.
Do not despair when faced with adversity,
Overwhelming troubles may lift, grievous hardships though they are.
The darkest clouds may yet disperse, revealing hope.

How many a distress you swore would never end
Many a tribulation has sworn it shall not pass,
Has vanished—and the Majestic, the One, relieved it.
Yet eased by the One, the Majestic and Compassionate.
