لاdo not تَذعdivulge سراًa secret إِلىto طالِبِهits seeker
لا تَذع سراً إِلى طالِبِه
مِنكَfrom you إِنَّindeed الطالِبَthe seeker السرthe secret مُذيعa divulger
مِنكَ إِنَّ الطالِبَ السر مُذيع
Do not divulge a secret to one who seeks it
Do not reveal a secret to the one who seeks it
from you: indeed, the seeker of a secret is a divulger.
For the seeker of secrets from you is one who spreads them
وَأَمتand put to death سركyour secret إِنfor indeed السِرthe secret إِنif
وَأَمت سرك إِن السِر إِن
جاوَزَgoes beyond اِثنَينِtwo سَيَنمىwill be passed on وَيَشيعand spread
جاوَزَ اِثنَينِ سَيَنمى وَيَشيع
And put your secret to death, for a secret, if it
And keep your secret, for if
goes beyond two, will be passed on and spread.
A secret exceeds two, it will grow and spread
