إِنَّماonly المَيتthe dead one ميتthe dead one الاِحياءthe living
He who has died and found rest is not truly dead.
The dead find no rest in death
The truly dead are the dead among the living.
The dead are those left living yet
إِنَّماonly الميتthe dead one منone who يَعيشُlives كَئيباًsorrowful

The truly dead are those who live in sorrow,
The dead are they who hopeless go
Their spirits downcast, with little hope.
With downcast eyes and steps so slow
