Dirhams that their lord makes,
Coins made by their Lord
To spend as he wills, not as they will.
To spend as He wills, not as you will

And had they been given a choice, they would not have fallen,
Had they been given a choice, they would not have tumbled
Nor scattered in the ocean of space;
Nor scattered across the expanse of space

وذاق الدخيل نعيم الصفاء
Nor would the free man have thirsted in his palm,
Nor would the touch of the free man echo in his palm
While the interloper tasted the bliss of serenity.
And the stranger taste the bliss of tranquility

Nor would the forsaken Christ have been among them [wording uncertain],
Nor would the Messiah have been lost among them
And beside him, dazzling radiance [wording uncertain].
And next to Him, glory shines bright

But his star is eternal
And his palm feels no death.
And his comfort feels no decay

His shop is the eternal time
And his wares are the deadly calamities of fate.
Its wares, harbingers of fate

Nor can anyone who struggles against him prevail,
None who struggle against Him prevail
Even if the vicissitudes of affliction exhaust him.
Though ordeals of affliction exhaust them

والمشتري صنعه لا مراء
He is the seller, the buyer, and the thing sold,
He is the seller, the buyer, the bought
And the buyer is his handiwork, beyond dispute.
The buyer - His making, no doubt
