هَذا محمدٌ السامي أَبو بَكر

هَذا محمدٌ السامي أَبو بَكر

قَد لاحَ يَحكي سناه طَلعة البَدرِ

قَد لاحَ يَحكي سناه طَلعة البَدرِ

This is the exalted Muhammad, Abu Bakr.

This is Muhammad, the sublime Abu Bakr

He has appeared, his radiance resembling the full moon’s countenance.

Who shines telling of his youth like the rising moon

قَد لاحَ يَحكي حَميداً في مَحاسنه

قَد لاحَ يَحكي حَميداً في مَحاسنه

وَفي النَجابة وَالأَخلاق وَالفكر

وَفي النَجابة وَالأَخلاق وَالفكر

He has appeared, resembling Hamid in his virtues,

Who shines telling of praiseworthy traits

And in nobility, character, and thought.

And in decency, morals and thought

محمد قَد أَتى بِاليمن وَالبشر

محمد قَد أَتى بِاليمن وَالبشر

Muhammad has come with good fortune and joy.

Muhammad has come with good fortune and glad tidings
