قالوا بَلغت المُنى بِالمَدح في حسنِ

قالوا بَلغت المُنى بِالمَدح في حسنِ

ربِّ المَعارف وَالإقبال وَالفطنِ

ربِّ المَعارف وَالإقبال وَالفطنِ

They said, “You have attained your wishes by praising Hasan,

They said you've reached the utmost in praising the beauty

master of learning, good fortune, and discernment.”

Of the Lord of knowledge, grace and wisdom

فَقُلتُ ذاكَ بِتَوفيقِ الإِلَه وَمن

فَقُلتُ ذاكَ بِتَوفيقِ الإِلَه وَمن

سِواه أَولى بِمَدحي مِن بَني زَمَني

سِواه أَولى بِمَدحي مِن بَني زَمَني

So I said, “That is through God's aid; and who

I said that is by the grace of God, and none

besides him is more worthy of my praise among the sons of my age?”

Other than Him is more deserving of my praise in my time
