نجم السَعادة في أُفق العُلا طَلَعا
حَيثwhen العَزيزthe exalted one إلىto أَوطانهhis native lands رجعاreturned
حَيث العَزيز إلى أَوطانه رجعا
The star of happiness rose on the horizon of eminence,
The star of happiness rose on the horizon
When the exalted one returned to his native lands.
When the beloved returned to his homelands
وَمصرand Egypt نالَتattained بِتَوفيقthrough granting success الإِلَهGod لَهُto him
وَمصر نالَت بِتَوفيق الإِلَه لَهُ
فَخراًglory بِهِthrough him قَدرُهاher standing فيin عَصرهِhis time اِرتَفَعاrose
فَخراً بِهِ قَدرُها في عَصرهِ اِرتَفَعا
And Egypt, through God's granting him success, attained
And Egypt attained, with God's aid for him
Glory through him; her standing rose in his time.
Through him glory - her worth in his era was raised
