تَبسمsmiled ثَغرlips البَشرhumankind فيin خَيرbest طالعٍomen
تَبسم ثَغر البَشر في خَير طالعٍ
بِهِthrough it يَخدمserves المَجدُglory السَعيدُjoyous محمداMuhammad
بِهِ يَخدم المَجدُ السَعيدُ محمدا
The lips of humankind smiled at a most auspicious omen;
The smiling lips of mankind in auspicious rising
Through it, joyous glory serves Muhammad.
Through it glorious endeavor serves Muhammad prosperously
وَينشدهand recites to him المَجدglory الأَثيلtime-honored مؤرخاًrecording the date
وَينشده المَجد الأَثيل مؤرخاً
ولادةbirth نُورNur (light) الدينal-Din (the faith) فيin مَصرEgypt لِلهُدىfor guidance
ولادة نُور الدين في مَصر لِلهُدى
And time-honored glory recites to him, recording the date:
And the perpetual glory recites it chronicling
The birth of Nur al-Din in Egypt for guidance.
